                                                                                                         IN YEAR 12 .....

                             If you did Yr. 11 History you will continue to build on the skills you started at Level One. 

                                       If you are new to History, you will learn new topics not done at Level One. 

                                     

                                 Topics:(2 of the following)

                                                                                - The Rise of the Nazis

                                                                               - The Russian Revolutions

                                                                               - The Vietnam War

                                         

     Internal Assessments will allow you to research and explore  aspects of New Zealand History.


                         


                                             A highlight is an annual trip to Wellington!

          YOU TO PLACES BEYOND NZ....


 

               

        For those who took up the opportunity on offer in 2023, 2the trip  travel to Vietnam finally happens!

Term One holidays- History trip to Vietnam for those signed up in 2023

Term 2
2.1 Carry out an inquiry of an historical event or place of significance to New Zealanders. 4 credits
2.2 Examine an historical event or place that is of significance to New Zealanders 5 credits
Trip to Wellington

Term 3
• Russia Revolutions

Practice and Revision for External Assessments

Recommended Prior Learning

While the skills in Year 12 build on those from Year 11 History, there is no prerequisite and students will not have a problem picking up Year 12 History.
